A New Idea for Hydrogen Production from Electrolytic Water

/ / News

Among the many hydrogen production methods, hydrogen production from electrolyzed water is more environmentally friendly and efficient. Recently, Song Xiaoming of Qingdao University of Science and Technology reported a simple three-step method (including hydrothermal synthesis, strong alkali etching and low-temperature vulcanization) to obtain porous self-crosslinking Cos2 (p-cos2 / Ti) materials grown on titanium mesh in situ. This material shows excellent bifunctional catalytic activity and high stability in the electrocatalytic process. This not only promotes the development of hydrogen production from electrolytic urea, but also provides a new idea for the preparation of efficient and simple electrocatalysts.
